1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of coveragescientist.com and everything we publish on it. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, stop here and close the page.

2. What we do, and how we earn

We write and host editorial and advertorial content about auto insurance. When you click a button or link asking to check your rate, we hand you off to a partner company that runs its own quoting or comparison service. We earn a fee for referring that traffic. That fee is the entire reason this site exists, and you should read what follows with that in mind: we are paid to send you onward, not to find you the cheapest policy.

3. This is not advice

Everything here is general information written for a wide audience. It is not insurance, legal, tax, or financial advice, and it takes no account of your situation. Rates, eligibility, discounts, and available coverage differ by state, insurer, vehicle, driving record, and credit profile, and they change constantly.

Any dollar figure, sample rate, percentage saved, statistic, testimonial, or customer story on this site is illustrative. It comes from advertising material or third-party sources, it is not a quote, not an offer, and not a promise of what you will be charged. Nobody can tell you your price but a licensed insurer working from your actual details. Confirm everything before you buy.

4. Where we send you

Once you leave coveragescientist.com, you are dealing with a different company under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control those companies and are not responsible for their products, prices, disclosures, marketing practices, service, or how they treat your information. Whether you give them your details is your decision, and any contract you form is with them, not with us.

5. Using the site

• Use it lawfully and for its intended purpose.
• Do not attempt to access systems, accounts, or data you have no right to.
• Do not scrape, mirror, resell, or republish our content, layout, or code without written permission.
• Do not attack, overload, probe, or otherwise interfere with the site or its security.

Insurer names, logos, and trademarks that appear here belong to their owners; we use them to describe the market. Their presence does not mean the company endorses us, sponsors us, or is affiliated with us in any way.

7. No warranty

The site is provided as is and as available. We make no warranty of any kind, express or implied, about it, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that anything on the site is accurate, current, complete, or uninterrupted.

8. Limit of our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Coverage Scientist is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunity, arising out of your use of this site, your reliance on anything published here, or your dealings with any company you reached through us. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars.

9. Indemnity

If your misuse of this site or breach of these terms causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees.

10. Changes and severability

We may revise these terms or the site itself whenever we choose. Revisions take effect on posting, and the date above always reflects the current version; continuing to use the site means you accept them. If a court sets aside any provision, the rest stays in force.
